Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Global Account Manager to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts on a global scale, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. As a Global Account Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of products or services and the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  2. Global Strategy Development:
    • Create and execute global account strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
    • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
  3. Revenue Growth:
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize account value.
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  4. Client Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.
    • Provide regular updates on product enhancements, new offerings, and industry trends.
  5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment with client needs.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve client issues and enhance service delivery.
  6. Contract Negotiation and Renewals:
    • Lead contract negotiations and renewal discussions.
    • Ensure contract terms and service level agreements meet both client and company expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Global Account Manager or in a similar strategic sales role.
  • Strong understanding of global business dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in B2B sales and account management.
  • Knowledge of the industry or market relevant to the company’s products/services.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for effective account management.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
