Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Guidewire ClaimCenter applications. As a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Guidewire Application Development:
- Design, code, test, and deploy Guidewire ClaimCenter applications.
- Customize and extend ClaimCenter functionalities based on project requirements.
- Integration:
- Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems, databases, and APIs.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow and communication.
- Configuration and Customization:
- Configure Guidewire ClaimCenter to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop custom solutions and plugins to enhance application capabilities.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of Guidewire applications.
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and address issues.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Guidewire configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Keep documentation up-to-date with any changes or enhancements.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Participate in project planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Guidewire certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in insurance application development.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
