The Senior Fare Collection System Expert (SFCS) will serve as a technical resource, overseeing all system design, implementation issues, and the management of AFCS. Responsibilities include checking each technical submittal before submission for approval to the AMC (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation). The SFCS will manage all technology-related work to ensure high-quality results.
Project Understanding: The SFCS is expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements outlined in the Contract Documents and site conditions. This understanding should be sufficient to provide design direction and assess compliance with the service provider’s design submittals and work.
- Act as a technical expert for coordinating system design and implementation issues.
- Manage and oversee the Automated Fare Collection Systems (AFCS) and related technology work.
- Review and validate all technical submittals before submission to the AMC for approval.
- Ensure compliance with the technical requirements outlined in the Contract Documents.
- Provide design direction based on a thorough understanding of project requirements and site conditions.
- Monitor and assure the quality of all technology-related work.
- 10 to 17 years of experience in Automated Fare Collection Systems.
- Strong expertise in AFCS and related technologies.
- Excellent understanding of technical requirements and design principles.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
