Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the FMCG/Personal Care industry with a proven track record in sales and team management. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and market presence.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to drive business initiatives and achieve overall company objectives.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all sales activities.
- Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG/Personal Care industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with experience in team management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region as required.
