Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Rajasthan
Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry (Beverage industry experience not required)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and establish relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners in the region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Oversee the execution of sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches in the region.
- Analyze sales data and reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all sales activities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to achieve overall business objectives.
- Mentor and coach sales team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales, with a focus on the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of general trade and channel sales processes.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management software.
