Job Description:
The ideal candidate for the Quality Engineering Manager position in the Telecom industry should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Experience in Mobile Communication Protocols:
- 12 to 15 years of experience in mobile communication protocols, including GSM/IN call flow, GPRS, CAMEL, SS7, Diameter.
- Network Elements Interfacing:
- Working knowledge and experience in interfacing with network elements such as MSC, VLR, HLR, SMSC, SCP, SDP, GGSN, SGSN, GX, GY, SY, etc.
- SQL and Unix Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge in SQL and Unix commands for backend operations is a must.
- Network Components:
- Hands-on experience in the deployment, integration, configuration, and testing of network components.
- API Testing:
- Proficiency in API testing tools like SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter.
- Functional and Regression Testing:
- Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and solution integration testing.
- Feature Testing:
- Execute feature test plans and conduct feature testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 11 years or more of relevant experience in the Telecom industry.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with mobile communication protocols and network elements.
- Proficiency in SQL and Unix commands for backend operations.
- Experience with API testing tools like SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter.
- Strong expertise in functional testing, regression testing, and solution integration testing.
- Proven experience in deploying, integrating, configuring, and testing network components.
