Responsibilities:

1. Manual Testing:
   • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software features.
   • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
2. Automation Testing:
   • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
   • Integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
3. Test Strategy and Planning:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and testing approaches.
   • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
4. Defect Management:
   • Identify, document, and track software defects through the defect lifecycle.
   • Work closely with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues.
5. Performance Testing:
   • Conduct performance testing to assess software scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
   • Analyze and report performance test results to stakeholders.
6. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
   • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• years of proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
