Position: Team Lead – Taxation
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 4 to 10 Years
Industry: FMCG
Salary: Up to ₹14 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling litigation related to indirect taxation independently.
• Managing compliance and audit processes for indirect taxes (GST, VAT, Excise, etc.).
• Liaising directly with state and central government authorities — hands-on experience is mandatory.
• Preparing and representing cases before tax authorities and appellate bodies.
• Ensuring timely submission of returns and compliance reports.
• Managing internal and external tax audits.
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and advising the organization accordingly.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Real-time hands-on experience in litigation and liaison activities (not through vendors or consultants).
• Strong exposure to Indirect Taxation (GST, VAT, Service Tax, Excise).
• Solid understanding of tax laws, regulations, and government procedures.
• Excellent drafting, representation, and communication skills.

Preferred Profile:

• Prior experience in an FMCG company or a similar fast-paced industry environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with government officials.
