Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with external data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-8 years of experience in Android app development.
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Strong experience with Android SDK and Eclipse.
- Familiarity with third-party libraries within working projects.
- Understanding of Activity lifecycle and appropriate usage of Contexts.
- Experience with customizable dynamic List Views and different types of adapters.
- Knowledge of asynchronous loading of data and caching using SQLite.
- Efficient debugging experience using logging.
