Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Location: Rajasthan

Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry (Beverage industry experience not required)

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.
  2. Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
  3. Identify and establish relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners in the region.
  4. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
  5. Oversee the execution of sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches in the region.
  6. Analyze sales data and reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as needed.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all sales activities.
  8. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  9. Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to achieve overall business objectives.
  10. Mentor and coach sales team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  2. Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales, with a focus on the FMCG industry.
  3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. In-depth knowledge of general trade and channel sales processes.
  7. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  9. Ability to travel extensively within the region as required.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management software.
