Job Title: Assistant Manager – Dietitian
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager – Dietitian to join our health and wellness team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and enhancing our nutrition programs, providing expert guidance to clients, and supporting the overall goals of our organization. The Assistant Manager – Dietitian will collaborate with the health and wellness team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutritional services.
Responsibilities:
- Nutritional Counseling:
- Provide personalized nutritional counseling to clients based on their health goals, medical conditions, and lifestyle.
- Develop and implement dietary plans and recommendations.
- Team Leadership:
- Assist in the management and supervision of the dietitian team.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior dietitians and support staff.
- Program Development:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of nutrition and wellness programs.
- Stay informed about the latest research and trends in nutrition to inform program improvements.
- Client Education:
- Conduct educational sessions and workshops on nutrition-related topics for clients and the community.
- Develop educational materials and resources to support client understanding of nutrition.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and fitness experts, to provide comprehensive health and wellness services.
- Work closely with the management team to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and state licensure.
- Proven experience as a dietitian, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to tailor nutritional advice to diverse client needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in a specialized area of nutrition (e.g., sports nutrition, clinical nutrition).
- Experience in program management and development.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to nutrition services.
