Responsibilities:

1. Architect, deploy, and maintain OpenShift container environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, networking, and security.
2. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement networking for telco 5G applications.
3. Monitor and optimize traffic flow to minimize latency and maximize performance for telecom services.
4. Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, DNS resolution, and packet loss.
5. Telecom customer management for OpenShift deployments for 5G Core network.

Skillset:

1. Proven experience as an OpenShift Networking, with a strong track record in designing and managing OpenShift environments.
2. Deep understanding of OpenShift architecture, including deployment strategies, operator frameworks, and cluster administration.
3. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, and routing protocols.
4. Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms like OpenShift and Kubernetes, including their networking features and configurations.
5. Experience with container networking solutions like CNI (Container Network Interface) plugins, overlay networks, and service meshes (e.g., Istio).
6. Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environments, including encryption, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and network policies.
7. Proficiency in Linux system administration, including network configuration, firewall management, and troubleshooting.
8. Familiarity with telecom-specific networking concepts, such as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and HTTP.
