Job Profile: Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Skills:

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and enhance SaaS products.
Lead a team of ML engineers and scientists to conduct rapid experiments and prototype development.
Experience working with Multi-modal LLMs (Large Language Models) such as Claude, Gemini, Llama.
Proficiency in fine-tuning Open Source Large Language Models (LLMs).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, etc.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of machine learning solutions that address complex business challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define ML project requirements and deliverables.
Mentor and guide junior ML engineers in best practices for ML model development and deployment.
Conduct research and stay updated with advancements in ML technologies and methodologies.
Evaluate and integrate third-party ML libraries, frameworks, and tools as needed.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed ML models.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier 1 Institute in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Proven experience of 7+ years in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in leading ML teams.
Solid understanding of various ML techniques, algorithms, and frameworks.
Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
