Job Title: Assistant Manager – Dietitian

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager – Dietitian to join our health and wellness team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and enhancing our nutrition programs, providing expert guidance to clients, and supporting the overall goals of our organization. The Assistant Manager – Dietitian will collaborate with the health and wellness team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutritional services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Nutritional Counseling:
    • Provide personalized nutritional counseling to clients based on their health goals, medical conditions, and lifestyle.
    • Develop and implement dietary plans and recommendations.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Assist in the management and supervision of the dietitian team.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior dietitians and support staff.
  3. Program Development:
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of nutrition and wellness programs.
    • Stay informed about the latest research and trends in nutrition to inform program improvements.
  4. Client Education:
    • Conduct educational sessions and workshops on nutrition-related topics for clients and the community.
    • Develop educational materials and resources to support client understanding of nutrition.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and fitness experts, to provide comprehensive health and wellness services.
    • Work closely with the management team to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and state licensure.
  • Proven experience as a dietitian, with leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to tailor nutritional advice to diverse client needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in a specialized area of nutrition (e.g., sports nutrition, clinical nutrition).
  • Experience in program management and development.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to nutrition services.
