Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Associate Manager – Accounts to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with specific experience in the iron, steel, or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly closing activities and prepare reports and analysis for management.
• Interact with statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Prepare tax audit details and maintain the fixed assets register.
• Monitor 26AS and GST reconciliation, and handle the filing of 2B.
• Perform group and branch reconciliations.
• Monitor and reconcile debtors and creditors.
• Reconcile bank balances to ensure accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Intermediate.
• 4-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the iron, steel, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, tax audits, and fixed assets management.
• Proficiency in monitoring 26AS and GST reconciliation.
• Excellent skills in reconciliation of group, branch, debtors, creditors, and bank balances.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
